Our mission

We support families of twins, triplets and higher-order multiples with education, friendship and social inclusion — from the very first surprise scan onwards.

The Sunshine Coast Multiple Birth Association Inc (SCMBA) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run association created by and for multiple-birth families. For more than four decades we have walked alongside parents on the Sunshine and Cooloola coasts — sharing hard-won wisdom, celebrating milestones and making sure no family feels they have to manage it all on their own.

Whether you're expecting multiples, in the thick of the newborn days, or watching your crew head off to school, there's a place for you here. We connect you with other parents who truly understand, and with best-practice information tailored to raising more than one at a time.

SCMBA Playgroup

Relaxed, regular playgroups where little ones play and parents connect over a cuppa. A friendly space to swap tips, make friends and feel understood.
