Two heartbeats. One deep breath.

If you've just seen two (or three) little blobs on the ultrasound screen — congratulations, truly. And if you're also a little bit terrified, that's normal too. Thousands of local parents have sat in that chair. Now it's our turn to sit with you.

Expectant-parent sessions

Learn from parents a few steps ahead.

Our expectant-parent sessions are informal, honest and led by SCMBA families — not lecturers. Come with your questions, your fears and your partner; leave with a plan, a support network and probably someone's old double-pram recommendations.

You don't need to be a member to attend your first session — and partners, grandparents and support people are all welcome.

What we cover

The stuff nobody tells you.

  • Feeding two at once — breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, combination, and the logistics of tandem everything
  • Sleep maths — syncing schedules, safe settling, and how to function on fragments
  • Gear that earns its keep — what you truly need two of, what you don't, and what to borrow or buy second-hand
  • Hospital & the early weeks — what a multiples birth often involves, including time in special care, and how to prepare gently
  • Your relationship & your village — protecting the two of you, and how to accept (and ask for) help without guilt
  • Two individuals — nurturing each child's identity from the very start
After they arrive

The support keeps coming.

Sessions are just the beginning. Once your little ones are here, the whole association opens up.

  1. Join playgroup

Weekly SCMBA Playgroup from the earliest weeks — pram-friendly, judgment-free, and full of parents who understand why you're late.

  2. Lean on the network

Our member community is a message away for the 2 am questions — feeding, settling, "is this normal?" — from people awake at the same time.

  3. Grow with us

Education events, social days and friendships that carry your family through toddlerhood, kindy and beyond.
